- Wide Area Distress Alarm Licence (168.9375MHz) with unique POCSAG encoded ID
- Fault monitoring of AC and DC Supply, monitored EN-54 compliant battery backup, active and passive RF monitoring, watchdog circuit and failsafe system fault warning.
- RF monitoring is set against commissioned location variables, not factory defaults.
- Fault reporting via audible and visual alarms, directly to users via fault message (at customer discretion), and via a failsafe volt free relay to the fire alarm panel.
- We supply the client with key switches for a fire alarm test (to warn Deaf users of an impending test) and site survey test (which gives live transmitter performance measures).
- Fire alarm messages building specific, for example “FIRE ALARM BUILDING A” and up to 80 characters.
- Transmitter can handle 8-10 building or evacuation zone inputs from the fire alarm.
- Transmitter output is uniquely adjustable on site from 100 milliwatts up to 5 watts.
- Transmitter can be fitted with a range of different sized aerials from 10cm to 1.2m to further extend 5 watt coverage.
- Standard personal receiver is 80 x 54 x 19 mm, holds up to 40 messages, time and date stamped. Operates on standard AA batteries, but intrinsically safe if fitted with MN1500 professional batteries. 6-8 weeks operational time recommended, but frequently longer depending on usage.
